Engelbrecht Farm allows you the time and the ability to do your own decorating, set-up and catering. Imagine your creative enjoyment decorating your own barn wedding with your family and friends. However if you prefer, we do have a list of several great decorators and caterers in the area that can bring your dream day to reality.
You will have the full farmstead wedding utilizing several of the structures. The house can be the core family retreat area but is intended for the bridal party to prepare themselves. In addition, the three bedrooms can handle overnight guests and a modern kitchen for you to prepare private meals.
The Barn is the largest in the area with 5,300 square feet under the roofs. Adjacent to the barn is the old concrete feed lot which covers 4,000 square feet which can be covered with a tent or left open for a true outdoor barn wedding. The floors in the barn are concrete with the second floor being wood. Also, other areas of the property may be explored and used as photography backdrops. You can even schedule to have your engagement photos taken once the wedding booking has been made.
The barn is split up into three major areas. The loafing shed is open on one end with a capacity of 140. The main part of the barn is split into the ground level and hayloft. The ground level can seat 150 people and 50 people can sit in the barn’s hayloft which overlooks the ground level. A tent can be placed on the concrete adjacent to the barn or in the south pasture next to the barn. Please keep in mind that these are average figures. Small event vehicle parking is available in the rock driveways. Large event vehicle parking is available in three grass lots within the farmstead.

A wedding event base rate of $5000 for up to 200 guests, is a three day booking and includes the three bedroom house which allows for overnight guests. This also includes use of the props, including the 1934 Chevrolet pickup, John Deere B tractor and horse drawn buggy. Your first day is intended for set-up, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Your second day being the wedding and the third being take down. We also provide heated and air conditioned restrooms, garbage disposal and tables and chairs.
